Civil War in 1865 and then died from pneumonia only three weeks after enlisting.

Very little is known about Clarinda after she remarried. She and three of her
children appear on the 1870 Winneshiek Co., Iowa census with her second husband, Thomas Hagerty.
They were living next door to her sister-in-law, Mary Quenett Tibbs and her
father-in-law, Francis Quenett.
