Notes:
Alexander and Clarinda moved from Allegany Co., New York to Houston Co., Minnesota in 1857.  They remained there until Alexander enlisted in the Civil War in 1865 and then died from pneumonia only three weeks after enlisting.

Very little is known about Clarinda after she remarried. She and three of her children appear on the 1870 Winneshiek Co., Iowa census with her second husband, Thomas Hagerty.  They were living next door to her sister-in-law, Mary Quenett Tibbs and her father-in-law, Francis Quenett.

By 1875, Clarinda had married for the 3rd time.

Clarinda died in the Rochester State Hospital for the Insane.  She was admitted as a patient on 13 Jun 1901 under the name of Quenett and her death is also registered under the name Quenett.
