It is thought that they left Pennsylvania and moved to Sparta, New
York before 1823. Records have not yet been found to prove just when this
happened.

It looks as though the
stroke tally for Francis and Eleanor has been reversed; Francis should show
50-59 and Eleanor should show 40-49.
The family then moved from Sparta, New York to Hornellsville, Steuben Co., New York
sometime after 1840.
They moved from Hornellsville to Andover, Allegany Co., New York
around August of 1850 as they appear
on the 1850 census for both areas:

reversed in error.
The 1855 state census indicated both Francis and Eleanor were born in New
York City but Francis was born in Canada. New
York City is possibly where they met as that's where they were married..

Again, Quenett is spelled
Quinette and, again, Francis is shown as being born in New York instead of
Canada.
By 1870, Eleanor had died and Francis is living with their daughter,
Mary, and her family in Iowa.
His son, Archibald, had moved his family to
Michigan and that may have been who Francis was living with when he died. His death record on file in Monroe County,
Michigan states:

Age: 96 years 4 months
Sex: Male Marriage: Widower
