OBITUARY
Name: George Alfred Patrick

Date: January, 1935
George Patrick, aged 38 years, 6 months and 1 day, died suddenly at the
home of his brother J. J. Patrick, at Clines Island, very suddenly, of acute
endocarditic, Wednesday. He had been chopping wood and had gone in to warm and
dropped over dead. He had complained of a hurting in his ear and had no symptoms
of any illness, according to his family. The suddenness of his demise came as a
great shock to his family and neighbors. He had spent his entire life in the
community. Funeral services were held this (Friday) afternoon at the church and
interment will be in the Cline Cemetery, Chiles service.
Surviving are his wife and five children, the brother, Joe, at whose home
he was at the time of his death, a half-brother, Louis, of Little Rock, Ark.,
and a half-sister, Mrs. A. J. Tyner, of Poplar Bluff. The deceased was a
nephew of Mrs. W. E. Alexander of this city.
