Mrs. Edith Patrick, a 69 year old resident of Bloomfield who had been ill
for several months, died at 10:10 last night at the home of her son, Arthur
Patrick of Bloomfield.
Mrs. Patrick, a resident of Stoddard County for 55 years, was a former
resident of Wayne County, Ill., where she was born Jul 22, 1894. She was a
member of the Bloomfield General Baptist Church. On January 17, 1915, she
married George A. Patrick, who preceded her in death in 1935.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Jennings of Indianapolis, IN; four
sons, Arthur Patrick of Bloomfield, Louie Patrick of Bloomington, IN, Farrell
Patrick of Indianapolis, IN, and Robert Patrick of Cottage Hills, IL; 11
grandchildren, and three great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Welker of
Dexter.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Bloomfield
General Baptist Church with the Rev. Andrew Bullinger, pastor of the church,
conducting the services. Burial will be in the Walker Cemetery. Chiles-Cooper
