Pauline Patrick Jennings, 88, of Indianapolis, Ind., died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003, in St. Vincent Hospital in Indiana.

Mrs. Jennings was born on May 31, 1915, in Avert to the late George Alfred and Edith (Combs) Patrick. Her childhood was spent in Stoddard County where she attended Beech Grove School.

She married Cecil R. Jennings on Jan. 21, 1934, in Bloomfield, and they moved to Indianapolis, Ind., in 1938. She was married to Cecil for nearly 54 years, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 18, 1987.

Mrs. Jennings had been a member of the Keystone Chapter #240 of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her sons, Harland Lee Jennings and Roy Vernon Jennings; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

One son, Donald Jennings, also preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2003, in Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel, 710 East 86th Street, Indianapolis. Order of the Eastern Star services will be at 7 p.m. Friday.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, in the mortuary with interment following in Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown.
