OBITUARY

Name:    Ida Mary (Roberts) Gray

Mrs. Ida Mary Gray, age 40, of near Merrillville, died late Saturday of a heart attack.  She was stricken in her home and died en route to the hospital.  Mrs. Gray, who had lived in Gary and vicinity for 22 years, was an inspector in the Gary Works rail mill.  She was a member of the 43rd Avenue Presbyterian Church, the Hobart Chapter of the Eastern Star, the White Shrine of Gary, and the Gary chapter of Job's Daughters.

Survivors include her husband, William J. Gray; a daughter Charlotte; a son, Ronald; three brothers, Fred, John and Hartley Roberts; and a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Roach.  

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Geisen's Funeral Home.  The Rev. John Goodpasture will officiate, with burial in Ridge Lawn Cemetery.  The Hobart Eastern Star will conduct memorial services in the funeral home at 7:30 tonight, while other memorial services will be conducted by Job's Daughters at 9 p.m.
