Tennyson resident Lois Jean (Garrison) Franz peacefully passed away at her home on Friday, March 19. She was 82.
Lois previously worked at General Electric in Tell City. Her greatest joy in life was being wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Edna Garrison; three brothers, Charles Garrison, Jimmy Garrison and Junior Garrison; and two sisters, Betty Ewin and Virginia Burgess.
Lois is survived by her husband of 64 years, Leonard Franz; six children, Wayne Franz and his wife Karen of Tennyson; Nadine Lampton and her husband Danny and Eugene Franz and his wife Bonita, all of Boonville, Barb McReynolds and her husband Russell of Folsonville, Lisa White and her husband Steve of Evansville, and Kenny Franz of Tennyson; 13 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren expected in late summer and early fall; and a great-great-grandson.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 23 at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel with Revs. Aaron and Eric Franz, grandsons of the deceased, officiating. Burial followed in Garrison Cemetery near Tennyson.
