Carl M. Wilkinson Sr., 87, of Evansville, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, at Parkview Care Center.
He retired in 1976 from the former Peter Healey Brass Foundry later Elkhart Products, after 33 years.
He was a charter member of Christ Lutheran Church, where he sang in the choir, served on the church council and was president of the Men's Club.
He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Louise M.; a daughter, Beverly Saner of Greenbush, Mich.; a son, Carl Melvin Jr. of Evansville; seven grandchildren, David and Steven Wilkinson, Kathleen Peckenpaugh, Vicki Gish, Michell Cantwell, Tammy Morris and Tonya Zaner; 16 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Christ Lutheran Church, the Rev. Judith Adkins officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. today at Alexander Funeral Home North Chapel and tomorrow from 9 a.m. to service time at the church,
