Notes:
From The Syracuse Herald, December 16, 1924:
SEARCH FAILS TO SHOW TRACE OF MISSING MOTHER
Despite vigilant search by State and city police, furthered with an appeal by radio broadcast last night, from station WFBL at the Onondaga Hotel,  no word has been received of Mrs. Walter A. Tracy, 28, of 136 West Adams Street, mother of two infant babies, whose disappearance is one of the most mysterious cases of its kind on record.

Her husband, a freight conductor for the New York Central Railroad, frantic with grief, left this morning for Utica, former home of Mrs. Tracy, and also the home of his mother, Mrs. Elnora Tracy, who is in the city caring for the baby, betty 5 weeks and Harlow 15 months.

Contrary to neighbors and friends, Mr. Tracy is inclined to believe that his wife is dead, but he vowed to continue the search until  he was certain.
