From The History of Colorado, Vol. 4, Page 390, comes the following biographical sketch:
Clive L. Senter, president and treasurer of the Puritan Pie Company of Denver; president of the Puritan Products Company, canners of fruits and manufacturers of syrups; treasurer of the Centennial Finance Company, and treasurer of the Piggly Wiggly Colorado Stores Company (groceries), has been actively connected with the baking industry since he was fourteen years of age.  He was born at Lyons, Nebraska, February 5, 1884, the son of Frank Gano and Eleanor Grace (Everett) Senter, the latter of whom also was born there, and the former at Hudson, New Hampshire.  He attended the local district school and in 1898 began his connection with the baking industry and has since been thus engaged, his business interests gradually developing until the above connections are now included.
On April 8, 1905, at San Francisco, Mr. Senter married Miss Emma M. Schmidt, and they have three children -- a daughter, Thelma Grace; and two sons, Harold C. and Everett Greeley.  Mr. and Mrs. Senter are members of the Church of Christ (Scientist).  Mr. Senter is a Knight Templar and Scottish Rite (thirty-second degree) Mason, a past worshipful master (1917) of Harmony Lodge No. 61, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, and is a member of the Old Colony Club.
