OBITUARY

Name:   Pliny Vernon Zehm

Big Timber -- Funeral services for Pliny Zehm, who died at the local hospital following a short illness with pneumonia, were held from the Lowry Chapel with the Rev. Paul Seagraves, pastor of the Church of God, officiating.

Music was by Mrs. Vern Hathaway who sang "Where We Will Never Grow Old" and "Beyond the Sunset."  Mrs. Frank Chase was accompanist on the organ.  Pallbearers were Herb Walton, Sidney Huyser, Q. C. Huyser, Charles McComb, Lawrence Vaughn and Roy McKittridge.  Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Zehm was born at Eagle Lake, Minn. in 1902 and came here as a young man and worked on various ranches in this locality.  He married Ebblena Sikkama on May 4, 1929 in Big Timber and they ranched in the Wormser district. 

He is survived by his wife and several brothers, one of whom resides in Miles City.
