Arthur Bliss Young, 88, was found dead at his home at 88 Spring Street, on Saturday by his daughter, Mrs. Clarence Brewer of Hancock.  Mr. Young's wife died last year and he had since lived alone at the Spring Street address.

Son of the late Charles and Abbie (Moon) Young, he was born in Pittsfield but lived most of his life in Williamstown.  He was a chauffeur for Mt. Hope farm for 35 years, until it closed eight years ago.  He was a member of the Second Congregational Church of Williamstown.

Surviving besides Mrs. Brewer are another daughter, Mrs. Florence Westcott of Batavia, N.Y., three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at Sherman-Burbank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Douglas C. Burgoyne, rector of St. John's Church, Williamstown, officiating.  Mr. Burgoyne will also conduct the committal service at Southlawn Cemetery, Williamstown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Second Congregational Church in memory of Mr. Young.  There are no calling hours at Hopkins Funeral Home.
