OBITUARY

Name:   Harry Daniel Wheeler

Harry Daniel Wheeler, aged 79 years, died in his home on Central avenue in Wellsboro, Friday, June 13.  He was born in Delmar township May 5, 1862, the son of Julius C. and Emily Bartle Wheeler and married Miss Orva M. Dobbs, of Wellsboro, who died in 1937.

Mr. Wheeler was employed by the New York Central Railroad for many years.  He was a member of the I.O.O.F. and a deacon of the Presbyterian church.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Sibil Kesting and Miss Florence Wheeler of Wellsboro; two sons, Harold Wheeler, of Wellsboro, and Jerome Wheeler of Dunkirk, N.Y.; four grandchildren, John and Robert Wheeler of Wellsboro, Jerome Wheeler Jr. and James Wheeler of Dunkirk; three sisters, Mrs. Irene Leach, of Mansfield, Mrs. Mary W. Keeney and Mrs. J. G. March of Wellsboro.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Presbyterian church, Rev. O. G. Cocks, D. D. officiating; burial in the Wellsboro cemetery.
