OBITUARY

Name:    Spencer Paddy Webster

Paddy Webster, son of William and Elizabeth Webster, was born June 8, 1864 and passed away at the home of his son Ray Webster June 30, 1951 at the age of 87 years, 22 days.

He was married to Hanna Barnes who preceded him in death 34 years ago. To this union were born eight children, 5 boys and 3 daughters  who all survive him -- Oliver of Buffalo; Wiley of Celt; Sherman of Eldridge; Huston of Marshall; Ray of Long Lane; Mrs. Agnes Heavner of Long Lane; Mrs. Sophia Cornett of Eldridge; and Mrs. Alice Coates of Urbana; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; also 5 brothers and one sister survive him: -- John Webster of Camdenton; Tom of Decaturville; Jess and Joe of California; Milton of Malta Bend and Fanny of Oklahoma; also, a host of friends and neighbors.

He was a devoted companion a good father and neighbor.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. E. H. Michalkowsky at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Hope Well church. Interment followed in Hope Well cemetery under the direction of L. B. Jones and Son.
