Sam C. Warren, 90, of Evansville, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital.

He retired as vice-president of engineering in 1975 after 28 years with George Koch Sons.  He attended Central High School, Purdue University and Evansville College.

He was a charter member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ, a member of Lessing Masonic Lodge 464 and Delta Chi Fraternity.

He was a hunter and fisherman.

Surviving are a daughter, Sara Singer of Loma Linda, Calif., two sons, Sam of Indianapolis and John of Evansville; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  His wife of 54 years, Mellville, died in 1989.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel, the Rev. Kimron Reising, officiating, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park.
