Bess C. "Mimi" Ulsas,88, of Evansville, died at 1:50 a.m. Thursday at Woodlands Convalescent Center.  She worked at the Executive Inn gift shop for many years.

She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Daughters of the Nile Isis Temple 41 and a 50-year member of the Robert Morris Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Cato and Charlotte Ruth Odom, both of Evansville; four brothers, Milton, James, Robert and Paul, all of Evansville; four grandchildren, Charlotte Odom Tanner, Elizabeth Odom Freyberger, Kevin Odom and Caron Cast Stewart; five great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Albert F. "Johnnie" Ulsas died in [sic] 1967.

Services will be at 10 a.m. at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Timothy Suenram officiating, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may cal from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home where an Eastern Star service will be at 7 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital in care of Hadi Shrine or to First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
