Clyde Everett Trout, 83, of East Moline, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, at Aspenwood Health Care Center, Silvis.

Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sullivan-Phillips Mortuary, East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital or heart fund for his grandson, Nathan.

He was born June 18, 1921, in McLeansboro, Ill., to Holbert and Liza Biggerstaff Trout. He married Dorothy Cremeens March 22, 1941, in McLeansboro. She died Sept. 24, 2000.

Mr. Trout drove tractors for John Deere harvester for 34 years, retiring in 1982.

He was a member of Full Gospel Church of God, East Moline. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and did a lot of horseback riding.

Survivors (and spouses) are his daughter, Debbie Ann (Kevin) Killian, Moline; sons, Donnie (Rita) Trout, Hampton and James (Judy) Trout, Moline; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Erikman, Carmi, Ill., and Wanda Cantrell, Tremont, Ill.; sister-in-law, Martha Trout, Batavia, Ill.

In addition to his wife, Dorothy, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Dale Trout; brothers, Earl and Kenneth Trout; and granddaughter, Heather Stanger.
