TOWER RITES TUESDAY; WAS AD EXECUTIVE

A memorial service for Robert C. Tower, 64, retired manager of the Tribune's general display and advertising department, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Lake Forest Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Tower, who retired Dec. 31, 1966, after 41 years with the Tribune, died Thursday in his summer home in Sister Bay, Wis.  A former Lake Forest resident, Mr. Tower lived in Sister Bay and at his winter home in Naples, Fla., since his retirement.  He was named manager of the Tribune's general display and advertising department in 1962 after serving in the classified department, the New York advertising department, and as manager of the general display and advertising department's western division.

Survivors are his widow, Louise; two daughters, Mrs. Anne Edmonds of Seattle and Mrs. Jane Frey of Ann Arbor, Mich.; a sister and six grandchildren.
