Frederick W. Tower, 54, of 850 DeWitt pl., sales manager of the Saginaw Furniture company, died Wednesday in Bethany Methodist Hospital.

Mr. Tower, a graduate of the University of Illinois, is survived by his widow, Roberta Shull Tower; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Churchill; his father, Willis E. Tower, formerly district superintendent of Chicago senior high schools; a brother, Robert C. Tower, western division manager of the general advertising department of the Tribune; a sister, Mrs. Murray C. Harvey; and a grandchild.

Services Friday will be private.
