DUBOISTOWN, Pa. -- John P. Threehouse, 66, of 2852 Cochran Ave., died Monday (Oct. 14, 2002) at the Williamsport Hospital & Medical Center.

Born Sept. 18, 1936, in Olean, N.Y., he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John G. Threehouse.  He and his wife of 41 years, the former Barbara A. Cuddy, were married July 8, 1961.  Mrs. Threehouse survives.

Mr. Threehouse was a veteran of the Korean War.

He was a member of Saint Lawrence Roman Catholic Church in South Williamsport.

Mr. Threehouse was a volunteer with the local chapter of the American Red Cross and had been a volunteer with the Food Pantry of the United Churches of Lycoming County.

Mr. Threehouse retired in 1989, after nine years of service, from the Williamsport Wirerope Works Inc.  He had previously retired as a baker from the Stroehmann Brothers Bakery after 30 years of service in Olean.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Denise (Tom) Schooley of Mosquito Valley and Robin Parker of Olean; a son, David J. (Diane) Threehouse of Jersey Shore, N.J.; five sisters, Sandra Threehouse, Mary Graham, June Gallets, Sharon Jordan, and Barbara Case, all of Olean; two brothers, Ronald Threehouse and James Threehouse, both of Olean; six grandchildren, a great-grandson; two step-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Kenyon.

The funeral and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday (Oct. 18, 2002) at Saint Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, 800 W. Central Ave., South Williamsport.  Father Francis L. Pauselli, his priest, will be the celebrant.

Relatives and friends may call at the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home, 1 E. Central Ave., South Williamsport Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m..  The rosary will be recited at 8:30.
