William Blair Suthers, late of Flossmoor, age 50, beloved husband of Jacqueline, nee: Littlefield; devoted father of Michael (Linnae), Suzanne and Nancy; son of W. Glenn and Marie H. Suthers. 

Mr. Suthers was a graduate of Morgan Park Military Academy and Illinois Institute of Technology.  He was a captain in the Air Force in World War II, distinguished himself as a pilot and squadron commander in 66 successful missions over Italy and France.  He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and Distinguished Service Medal for bravery in action.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church, Park Avenue and Leavitt, Flossmoor.  Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the church.  Interment will be in Homewood Memorial Garden.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. John Memorial Fund will be gratefully received.
