James Noble Stovall, 76, of Eddyville, died Friday, January 9th, at 11:10 p.m.
at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
A member of Liberty Baptist Church in Lyon County, Joppa Masonic Lodge # 167 and
a U.S. Army World War II veteran, he was a son of the late Finis and Sigourney
Glass Stovall.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Stovall, a stepbrother, Frank
Williams, and two stepsisters, Eva Lee Smith and Ruth Hornsby.
Survivors include his wife, Janie Ruth Stovall; three daughters, Suzie Lee,
Virginia Potter and Sigourney Bryson, all of Eddyville four grandchildren; two
great grandchildren; a brother, Eugene Stovall of Princeton, and a stepbrother,
Edward Williams of Netro, West Virginia.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, January 12th, at 1:00 p.m. at Dunn's
Funeral Home in Eddyville with the Rev. Johnnie Davis officiating.
Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lyon County, Ky.
Masonic services were conducted at 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home.
