ALLEGANY - Mrs. Hazel Spindler of West Branch Road, died Friday (Sept. 5, 1980)
in St. Francis Hospital.
Born Dec. 15, 1908 in Allegany, she was a daughter of Charles and Cornelia
Beaman Spindler.
A lifelong resident of Allegany, Mrs. Spindler had attended Allegany school
system.
She had been employed for several years as a custodian for Allegany High School
prior to her retirement.
Mrs. Spindler was a member of St. Bonaventure Church, and the Altar and Rosary
Society of the church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Mary) Stayer of Allegany; five
grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Alice Louser of Allegany; and several nieces and
nephews.
Friends will be received at the E.C. Hogan Funeral Home Inc., 30 E. Main St.,
Allegany, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m., where
funeral services will be held Monday (Sept. 8, 1980) beginning with a prayer
service at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.
Bonaventure Church. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany.
The Rosary will be recited Sunday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
