Margaret I. (Ma) Senter, 84, of 10 Alids St., died Saturday at a local hospital after an extended illness. 

She was born in Watertown, Mass., Sept. 25, 1892 [sic], the daughter of the late John B. and Mary E. (Campbell) Bishop.  A resident of the Nashua-Hollis area since 1942, and formerly of South Boston, Mass., Mrs. Senter had been a member of the Mary E. Hunt Home since 1968.  Through the years, she had been employed by Liggett's Drug Store, the Sterling Drug Store and the Economy Drug Store, retiring in 1957.  She was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Senter had membership in the Avalon Rebekah Lodge No. 96, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, the Naumkeag Grange No. 241 of Litchfield and was a former member of the Indian Head Court No. 2 Order of Amaranth and the Donald C. Petry American Legion Post Auxiliary of Hollis.

Members of her family include two sons, Charles E. Senter of Columbia and John G. Senter of Nashua; four grandchildren, Mrs. Lawrence (Margaret I.) Blair of Bow, Charles E. Senter Jr., of Hollis, Miss Ruth J. Senter of Nashua, and John L. Senter of Nashua.; five great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The service will be held in the chapel of the David Funeral Home, 1 Lock Street, Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock.  The Rev. Philip A. Crane will officiate.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service.  Visiting hours will be at the Davis Funeral Home Monday evening 7 to 9 p.m.  Interment will be in Hills Farm Cemetery, Hudson, N.H.
