Mr. Seavey was graduated from Milford High School and the University of New Hampshire. During World War II, he served in the European Theater as a U.S. Army Colonel. Mr. Seavey had been associated with the Long Island Light and Power Co. for the past 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Inga Seavey of Huntington; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence W. (Bernice Barker) Seavey of Milford, N.H.; a daughter, Mrs. Marion Steady of Tilton, N.H.; a son, Donald B. Seavey Jr., of Lansing, Mich; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Harriet Perkins of Petersborough, N.H.; two brothers, Kenneth Seavey of Alton Bay, N.H. and Robert Seavey of Milford, N.H.; also nieces and nephews.
The A. L. Jacobson Funeral Home, Huntington, L. I., is in charge of arrangements.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at the A. L. Jacobson Funeral Home, Huntington, Long Island, N.Y. Burial will be in Long Island National Cemetery, Pine Lawn, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to University of New Hampshire, c/o Mr. Norman Myers, Durham, N.H., 03824.
