Russell K. Scott, 57, of Papakeechie Lake, Route 3, Syracuse, died of complications following a stroke, Thursday at his home.

Mr. Scott, who had been ill for 18 months, was born May 7. 1906 at South Bend.  He was married Dec. 11, 1960 to Iva Taup Hartter, who survives.  Mr. Scott was an employee of the Weatherhead corporation of Syracuse and was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, three sons, Sherman at home, Walter of Culver, and Robert of Hamlet; one daughter, Mrs. Bill Miller, of New Carlisle; and nine grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Mishler Funeral Home in Milford.  Rev. Ralph Wagner of Syracuse will officiate..  Burial will be in Milford cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday until time of services Sunday.
