Alan E. Schwartz, age 76, of Huntingburg, passed away at 1:22 a.m., on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at his residence.

He was born April 23, 1939 in Huntingburg, Indiana, to Arthur P. "A. P." and Mildred (Hull) Schwartz. He married Cara Lee Buschkill on July 11, 1964 at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Evansville. Mr. Schwartz retired from NCR Corp where he worked as a District Sales Manager. He was a member of Central Christian Church in Huntingburg and Sigma Phi Epsilon at Indiana State University. Alan was preceded in death by his wife, Cara Lee Schwartz, who passed away November 26, 2013; two brothers, Stanley Schwartz and Arnold Schwartz; one sister, Ruth Esarey; and one niece, Sherrie Schwartz.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa (Bruce) Parks of Holt, Michigan; one brother, Jerald Schwartz of Ft. Wayne, IN; Three grandchildren,
Holly, Joshua and Katie Parks at home in Holt, Michigan, and by nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Alan E. Schwartz will be held at 1:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Tuesday, May 26th, 2015 at the Central Christian Church in Huntingburg with burial of his cremains to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Pastor Paul Newland will officiate at the services.

Friends may call for visitation the day of the memorial service at Central Christian Church in Huntingburg from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 26th. Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the arrangements. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
