Ada P. Samples, 94, of Cumming died Sunday following an extended illness.

She was a member of Daves Creek Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, J. Milford Samples.

Survivors include her children, Odath Samples, Narmon Samples and Emmett Samples, all of Cumming; brother, David Pugh, Buford; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2004, at Daves Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Doug Carnes and the Rev. Carrel Pruitt will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
