Mary Ruth Rogers, 83, died Saturday, April 15, 1995, at the Manor of the Plains Long Term Care Unit in Dodge City.

Born Dec. 26, 1911 in Dodge City, she was the daughter of Jennie and Byron L. Glenn.  In 1916, the family moved to Jetmore where they were all active members of the United Presbyterian Church and involved in the community,

Mary Ruth married Lester Rogers on Aug. 25, 1932.  He survives and lives in Dodge City.  They had a son, Leroy, who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Alice, and two brothers, John and Byron.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 22, at the United Presbyterian Church in Jetmore, with the Rev. Steven Bomely officiating.  Memorial gifts may be given to the United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore.
