LeRoy F. Quenett, 80, of Genoa, Illinois died Sunday, May 11, 2003 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital in De Kalb.  He was born April 23, 1923 in Fargo, North Dakota the son of Alex and Mollie Quenett.  He married Doris L. Olson Price in Sycamore, Illinois on December 25, 1953.  He was an area farmer, worked for Falls Products in Genoa, Arnold's Engineering in Marengo, and Continental Envelope in Genoa.  LeRoy enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Genoa and the De Kalb County Farm Bureau.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Quenett, of Genoa; two daughters, Darlene Quenett, of Kirkland, Nancy Decker, of California; on son, David (Carol) Quenett, of Genoa, seven grandchildren, Crystal Grismer, Steve Quenett, Andy Quenett, Alissa Quenett, Jim Kennedy, Julia Kennedy, and Derek Olson; three great-granddaughters, Brookelynn, Madelynn and Ashlynn Grismer; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Mae McDowell; three brothers, Alfred, Jim, and Bob Quenett; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Taylor.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 15 at Cooper-Quiram Funeral Home.  Interment will be in Genoa Cemetery.  A visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.  A memorial fund is established for Trinity Lutheran Church in care of the Cooper-Quiram Funeral Home, 202 E.
