RUSHVILLE, Mrs. Alberta Eddy Powers, 61, widow of Fred Powers, died at her home here last night following a long illness. 

Mrs. Powers was born in Middlesex and was a life long resident of this community.  Mrs. Powers was a member of the Rushville Congregational Church.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Edson Powers of Endicott, a daughter, Miss Doris Powers of Rushville; a brother Elger [sic] Eddy of Rushville; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Wood of Rochester and Mrs. Alice Elwell of Canandaigua; and one granddaughter, Miss Dolores Powers of this village.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. for the family at the home and at 3:30 in Rushville Congregational Church.  The Rev. Harold MacGilvray, of Fulton, and former pastor of the Congregational church here will officiate.  Burial will be in Rushville Cemetery.
