OBITUARY

Name:     Fern Elisabeth (Galutia) Larson Plackett

Fern E. Plackett, 94, of Osage City passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Peterson Nursing home.  Mrs. Plackett worked as a bookkeeper and assistant to Dr. E. C. Sexton. She and her first husband, Harry, were also farmers.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Osage City United Methodist Church. Burial will follow services at Union Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at the VanArsdale Funeral Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Osage City Senior Center and sent in care of the funeral chapel at 107 N. Sixth Street, Osage City, Kansas 66523.
