Born July 26, 1904 in Alma, she was a daughter of William and Belle Galutia Harder. On July 7, 1924 in Friendship, she married Dewey H. Pinney, who survives.
A lifelong resident of Alma, she was a 1922 graduate of Wellsville High School and a graduate of Alfred Teachers College. She had taught many years in the South Bolivar School District and attended the Alma United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Robert D. Pinney of Alma; two daughters, Margaret Seamans of Alma, and Jeanette McBride of Olean; ten grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 today at the Mulholland-Corwell Funeral Home in Wellsville, where a private service will be held Monday with the Rev. Joanne Vinyard officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellsville.
