Memorial services for Miss Eleanor Ellis Perkins, 75, of 1710 Orrington av., Evanston, a book reviewer and author, will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the First Congregational church of Evanston, Hinman avenue and Grove street.  Miss Perkins died Thursday while visiting friends in Austin, Tex.

A lifelong resident of Evanston, she was the daughter of the late Dwight Perkins, a Chicago architect, and Lucy Fitch Perkins, an author of children's books.  Miss Perkins was best known for "Eve Among the Puritans," a biography of her mother.

She was a founding member of the League of Women Voters of Evanston, was chairman of the official committee of public place names of Evanston.

A brother, Lawrence Perkins, survives.
