OBITUARY

Name:   Frederick Arthur Pease

Frederick A. Pease, 72, member of one of the oldest Williamstown families, died at his home on Cold Spring road yesterday afternoon.  Mr. Pease, a retired farmer, leaves only his wife, Florence A Pease and a daughter, Agnes.  Mrs. Pease is the former Florence A. Rounds.

Both Mr. Pease's parents, the late Henry Pease and Clarissa Young Pease, were born here.  He was born in South Williamstown.  For some years before turning to farming, Mr. Pease worked in the corduroy mill operated by John Boyd on Water street, where the Cornish Wire Company is now located.

The funeral for Mr. Pease will be private, and will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at the home at 2 o'clock by the Rev. Stanley A. Bennett, pastor of the Central Baptist church.  Burial will be in the family lot in Eastlawn cemetery.
