Joe Thomas Patrick, 66 year old resident of Bloomfield, Rt. 3, died April
27 at the home of his son, James W. Patrick following a three month illness.
He had resided in Stoddard County his entire life. He was married in 1916
to Miss Rhoda Kelley, who died in 1926. Mr. Patrick was a member of the
Bloomfield I.O.O.F. Lodge.
Surviving, in addition to his son James, are two daughters, Mrs. Helen Liebman of St. Louis and Mrs. Julia Moore of Bloomfield; 15 grandchildren; 8
great-grandchildren; a half-brother, Louie Cole of Little Rock, Ar., and a
half-sister, Edna Katz of Memphis, Tn.
Funeral services were conducted at Walker's Church by the Rev. S. E.
Walker. Burial was in the church cemetery with Chiles services.
