James William Page, 64, died Saturday at his home three miles west of Hamilton.  He was born April 27, 1865 at West Berlin, Ohio.  He came to Kansas in 1890 and was married to Miss Mary I. Thrasher [sic] of Berryton.  Five years later, Mr. and Mrs. Page moved to Hamilton, where their home has been for 34 years. Mr. Page had been a member of the Baptist church since 1898 and also was a member of the Modern Woodmen lodge.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Page, of Hamilton; three daughters, Mrs. Pearl E. English and Mrs. Virginia I. Hoch, Emporia, and Mrs. Myrtle A. Noble, Wichita; and two sons, Irvin B. Page, Wichita, and George A. Page, Hamilton.  One brother, Thomas C. Page of Marion, Ohio also survives as do six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were to be held at the Page home near Hamilton at 1 o'clock this afternoon.  Interment will be in Maplewood cemetery in Emporia.
