OBITUARY

Name:   Dollie Elizabeth (Welker) Nunley

Mrs. Dollie E. Nunley, 94, died this morning at St. John's Hospital after a brief illness.  She had lived at the home of a grandson, Mr. and Mrs. Dorsey Maddox, 2507 Pearl St.

A native of Cape Girardeau, Mo., she moved to Anderson in 1939 from Kennett, Mo.

She was a member of the Church of Christ for 67 years and was a member of the Columbus Avenue Church of Christ here.  Her husband, James, died in 1959.

Surviving are nine children: Mrs. Norman (Marie) Davis and Elbert Nunley, both of Anderson; Ernest Nuley, Muncie; Alvin Nunley and Mrs. Loren (Bertha) Newell, both of Nashville, Tenn.; Mrs. Lessie Keys, Wake Park Fla.; Mrs. Elsie Staggs, Tucson, Ariz.; Mrs. Dorsey (Roxie) Maddox, Alexandria; and Ira Nunley, Lapel; a sister, Mrs. James (Ollie) LsFevers, Peggott, Ark.; 25 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Columbus Avenue Church of Christ with Charles Coombs, minister, officiating.  Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Brown and Butz Funeral Home and at the church one hour prior to services.
