CORYDON Grace L. Neely, 78, of Corydon, died Thursday night
(Nov. 26, 2003) at Bloomington
Hospital.
She was a native of Union Town, Ky., and was born on October 4, 1925, the
daughter of Grover Cleveland and Hettie
Randolph Mayberry.
She had been an employee of the old Lamon and Davis Hardware Store in Corydon,
and had been a production worker at ICI in Charlestown, and owner and operator
of Neely's Jewelry in Corydon. She was a member of the Corydon Christian Church,
and she attended First Born Church of God-Hebrews 12:23.
Survivors include one son, Robert "Bob" Neely (Lesilyn) of Bloomington; one
brother, James Mayberry of Evansville; two
grandchildren, Hanna and Luke Neely of Bloomington; and several nieces and
nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Neely; four brothers and
four sisters.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, with
the Revs. Elmer Starett and Neal Kentch officiating. Burial will be at Cedar
Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Monday at the
funeral home.
