Graveside services for Robert Lee Neal, 91, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Rosedale Cemetery, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate. Mr. Neal died Sunday, May 8, 2011 at a local nursing home.
He was born June 26, 1919 in Tupelo, Oklahoma to Charles and Eva Jennings Neal. He married Ama Teel on December 24, 1935. She preceded him in death on November 18, 1995.
Mr. Neal was a track maintenance worker for Frisco Railroad until his retirement. He was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church and a member of the American Legion. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Bobbie Plumlee and her husband John, Ada; a granddaughter, Jonna Plumlee and her husband Steve Erickson, Carrollton, TX; one sister, Barbara Huckaby and her husband Ed, Sherman, TX; one brother, Don Neal, Amarillo, TX; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a grandson, Randal Plumlee, two brothers and three sisters.
Bearers will be Pete Tippit, Richard Teel, Dustan
Grand, Randy Daniels, Steve Erickson and John Plumlee.
