OBITUARY

Name:    John H. Murdock

John Murdock, prominent throughout this section in Dairymen's League work, died last Thursday morning at his home in Horseheads, following a shock which he suffered about six weeks ago.  Mr. Murdock was born in Austinburg, Pa. about 45 years ago and spent his early life in that place.

About 24 years ago, he married Ethel Carpenter of Little Marsh.  Mr. Murdock was a cheese maker by trade, working in both northern Pennsylvania and southern New York.  Some few years ago he accepted a position with the Dairyman's League and since then he traveled extensively for the organization throughout the section of the country where he was already well known.

Mr. Murdock is survived by his widow; one daughter, Sarah, a student at Mansfield State Teachers' College; a son, Herman; a sister, Mrs. Tubbs and a brother of Knoxville, Pa.
