Name:   Eugenia Kirkland (Barker) Morfey

Services for Mrs. Eugenia Barker Morfey, 75, of 60 Fern street, Fairfield, wife of Hubert C. Morfey, who died Saturday in Bridgeport hospital, will take place Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Howland chapel of the United Congregational church, with the Rev. Howard C. Nutting officiating.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Born in Bridgeport and an area resident all her life, Mrs. Morfey was graduated from Courtland school in Bridgeport and Miss Porter's school in Farmington.  She was a charter member of the Thimbier club, forerunner of the Junior League, and remained a member until her death.  Mrs. Morfey was active in community and church affairs most of her life and had served on various committees of the YWCA and the United Congregational church.  During World War I, she was an active worker in the Red Cross, chiefly in the Savannah, Ga. area.  She was a member of the Fairfield Beach club and the Pequot Yacht club.

The Wilmot, West and Goulding funeral home, 1209 Post road, Fairfield, is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors in addition to her husband are a brother, George M. Barker of Easton and several nieces and nephews.
