BRADFORD, Pa. -- Leo G. Moran, 71, of 1020 !/2 W. Washington St., formerly of 24 Chamberlin Ave., Bradford, died Saturday (Oct. 12, 1991) at his residence.

He was born June 16, 1920, in Austin, a son of Thomas and Edna Threehouse Moran.  On June 15, 1946, in Allegany, N.Y. he married the former Betty J. Gildersleeve, who survives.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was employed for 35 years with Dresser Manufacturing Co. in Bradford, retiring in 1982.  He attended Olean, N.Y. schools; was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bradford and the Quarter Century Club of Dresser Manufacturing.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Mrs. Candace Swanson and Mrs. Deborah Price, both of Bradford, and Mrs. Pamela Knight of Hampton, Va.; a son, Matthew Moran of Bradford; six grandchildren; a sister, Genevieve Gardner of Phoenix, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Marsha Moran; two brothers; and two sisters.

There will {be} no visitation.  Friends may attend a memorial service Tuesday (Oct. 15, 1991) at 7:30 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church Bradford with the Rev. W. LeRoy Beckes, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

The family requests memorials, if desired, be made to the First Presbyterian Church; the Bradford Hospital Foundation; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
