James (Jim) Miller, 70 years of age, passed away at his home in Bloomfield, Mo. Thursday, following a lengthy illness.  Funeral services were conducted at the Trinity Methodist Church in Bloomfield, Saturday afternoon with the Reverends Wolfe and Ray officiating. Interment followed in the Bluff Cemetery, Watkins Service.

Mr. Miller was born Sep 1, 1877 in Bloomfield.  He resided here his entire life.  In 1918, he was united in marriage to Miss Florence Jennings and to this union, three children were born. He is survived by his widow, four children, Mrs. Marie Wand of Indianapolis, In, Lester Miller of St. Louis, Mrs. Thomas Cooper of St. Louis, and May Andrews of Waynesburg, Ohio by a former marriage, two sisters, Mrs. Ida Liles of Poplar Bluff and Mrs. Frank Sills of Oakland City, In and a host of other relatives and friends.
