ATLANTA -- Roy Mayberry, 81, of Atlanta died Nov. 10, 1982 in Mennonite Hospital, Bloomington, IL.

He was born in Hamilton County, son of John Marion and Rosetta Mayberry.

He was a retired employee of Illinois Terminal Railroad Co. He married Edith McCrea in 1923. She died in June, 1982.

Surviving are his sons, Bob and Jack; daughter, Helen Sank; brother, Cecil; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.  Two sons, one daughter, two brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services were at Quiram Funeral Home, Atlanta, with burial in Harmony Cemetery, Beason.

Memorials: Hospice Unit of Mennonite Hospital or donor's choice.
