FORMER OLIVE BRANCH PASTOR EXPIRES

Rev. Ennis E. Mayberry, 83, former pastor of the Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church, died at 3:55 a.m. Saturday in the Christian Welfare Hospital in East St. Louis. He had been a patient of the hospital only two days.

Two funeral services will be conducted. The first will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Kassly Colonial Mortuary in Collinsville; then there will be services at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Olive Branch Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Rev. Mayberry was born in Mt. Carmel Dec. 5, 1890, the son of Jarrett and Lula Schrodt Mayberry. He married Ruth Thomason, who survives. He was a member of the Olive Branch Church.

Surviving are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Frances Ross, of Caseyville; one step-son, William Ryan, of Collinsville; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
