INTERLOCHEN -- Mrs. Lela Mack, 69, R. 1 Interlochen, died Wednesday at the Munson Medical Center after an extended illness.

She was born March 31, 1897 in Manistee and is survived by her husband, Ira; two sons, Kenneth of Beulah and Eugene of Traverse City; two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Spaulding of Bendon and Mrs. Virginia Johnson of Traverse City; four brothers, Fred of Copemish, Herman of Salem, Ore., Lawrence of Onekema, and Joseph of Bear Lake; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Carpenter of Flint; 19 grand children and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Mack was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Henry Vallencourt.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Marilla Brethren Church in Manistee County.  The Rev. Roy McRoberts will officiate.  Burial will be in the Cleon Township Cemetery, Manistee County.
