George Mack, 67, died in Yale Community Hospital June 5, after a long illness.

Mr. Mack was born August 14, 1889 in North Adams, Hillsdale County, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Milo Mack.

He married Miss Anna J. Webb, January 1, 1914 in Yale.

He was a rural mail carrier in the Yale area for 40 years from 1910 to 1950. He lived in the Melvin area most of his life and was a member of the Melvin Baptist Church, and Yale I.O.O.F. Lodge No. 110.

Mr. Mack is survived by his wife Anna; five foster children, B. J. Meredith of Pontiac; William Royle of Almont; Madelyn Hazen of Brown City; Ronald Meredith and George McGuire of Melvin; 13 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ira Mack of Copenish, Michigan and Frank Mack of Marlette; two sisters, Mrs. Atta Cumper, of Roseville, and Mrs. Flora Cotter of Clifford; several nieces and nephews. A nephew, Gareth Mack, preceded him in death.
