Wilmont J. Lyon, 40, of Lockport, N.Y., formerly of Wellsboro, Died Monday, June 20, 1960.

Born March 24, 1920 in Niles Valley, he was the son of John James and Katherine Lyon.

Mr. Lyon was a veteran of World War Two holding seven battle stars.  He received the Purple Heart.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Doane and Mrs. Paul Bartlett, both of Osceola.

The funeral was held in Johnson and Tussey Funeral Home Wednesday at 2 p.m., the Rev. John Squires officiating.  Burial was in Niles Valley Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
