ALLEGANY - Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Lauser of West Branch Road, who died
Saturday (Sept. 4, 1982) in her home following a lengthy illness, were held
today (Tuesday, Sept. 7, 1982) at the E.C. Hogan Funeral Home, Allegany. A
prayer service at 9:30 a.m. was followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10
a.m. in St. Bonaventure Church. Burial was in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
Born June 27, 1912, in Allegany, she was a daughter of Charles and Cornelia
Beeman Spindler. In August, 1931, in Allegany, she married George Lauser, who
predeceased her in December, 1961.
A lifelong resident of Allegany, Mrs. Lauser was a graduate of Allegany Central
School and had been employed at the high school until her retirement in 1972.
She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church, a former member of the Altar and
Rosary Society, and a member of the 60 Plus Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Floyd (Catherine) Putt of Allegany; two sons,
Thomas Lauser and Kenneth Lauser, both of Allegany; 14 grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren, and a niece and a nephew.
